easier-equities turns your EasyEquities statements into a clear picture of your real returns. We keep what we store to the minimum needed to do that — and we deliberately avoid storing anything that identifies you as a specific person.
When you choose to save a statement, we store only the financial figures extracted from it, so you can return later without re-uploading the PDF:
This data is linked to your login so that only you can retrieve it, and — if you opt in in future — so we can email you summaries of your returns.
We do not store information that ties your statements to you as an identifiable individual. Specifically, we never keep:
Your statement PDF is read entirely in your browser. The file itself is never uploaded to our servers — only the extracted financial figures above are sent when you save.
Saved statements stay until you remove them. You can delete a statement at any time, and we never sell or share your data with third parties.
To show current portfolio values, instrument tickers are sent to Yahoo Finance, and currency rates are fetched from Frankfurter. Neither request includes anything that identifies you.
